Hi, World! I'm Kim Dembrosky
I'm a contemporary conceptual artist based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
Born in 1983, I graduated magna cum laude from Southwestern University with a BFA in Studio Art. My work is inspired by various movements such as Process Art, Pattern and Decoration, Data Art, Conceptual Art, and Abstract Expressionism. My heroes include Sol LeWitt, Salvador Dali, Picasso, Robert Motherwell, Franz Kline, and Ives Klein among others.
Maintaining a precarious balance between discipline and playfulness, I draw greatly upon my experiences living with Chan Buddhist monks in rural China, as well as my experiences as an emergency room nurse. In my free time, I like to watch Red Dwarf, obsessively organize my studio, drink lagers with the guys, listen to heavy metal, and play pinball.
My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.
